From Shandong Airlines' General Conditions of Carriage effective 1 July 2026.

Cabin bag size

Each piece up to 55 cm (22 inches) long, 40 cm (16 inches) wide and 20 cm (8 inches) high, wheels and handles included. First and business class: 2 pieces; premium economy and economy: 1 piece.

Cabin bag weight

First and business class: up to 8 kg or 17 lbs per piece. Premium economy and economy: up to 5 kg or 11 lbs.

Personal item

1 personal item that fits under the seat in front, such as a handbag, briefcase, laptop bag or camera bag.

Size and weight limits

Each checked piece must weigh at least 2 kg (4 lbs) and no more than 45 kg (99 lbs) on domestic routes or 32 kg (70 lbs) on international routes. Weight-system routes: up to 100 cm x 60 cm x 40 cm. Piece-system routes: the three dimensions may total no more than 203 cm (80 inches), wheels and handles included.

Care

For a delay or cancellation at the departure point caused by Shandong Airlines (mechanical failure, scheduling, crew and similar), it provides meals and accommodation. For causes outside its control (weather, air traffic control, security and similar) it helps arrange meals and accommodation at your cost. At an intermediate stop or on a diversion it provides meals and accommodation regardless of cause.

Refund

After a flight cancellation you may choose a refund even if your ticket's conditions restrict refunds, and the refund service charge is waived.

Compensation

For a delay caused by Shandong Airlines that occurs within 3 days before scheduled departure, passengers who bought before the delay and took the flight are compensated RMB 200 for a delay of 4 hours to less than 8 hours, and RMB 400 for 8 hours or more.
